I am very excited to be here and meet you!
I live in New York, USA and I speak English and Spanish. I have been working with children of various ages for 15 years. While I lived in Texas, I earned a college degree in Elementary Education. I enjoyed several years working in a classroom with students of many cultures. My specialties are teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) and Bilingual students. I received my TESOL certification last year through an Advanced Methods course. I also have experience teaching adults in my volunteer work that I have done for 8 years. I have received training through a school intended to sharpen my teaching skills for any learner!
I love trying new things all the time. That is why one of my favorite things to do is to travel. I have always loved exploring music and food, creating art, and dancing. I think people are so unique, therefore meeting new people is my favorite thing!
I believe each child has the ability to learn in an environment where they feel comfortable and safe. I also feel that it is my responsibility to encourage a child’s desire to learn. I am ready to be attentive, helpful, and very likely also silly.
I am excited for your learning journey and I hope to meet you!
