Hope you liked it. And I hope you can join my class. Now, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, where I gained ten years experience working in a variety of public schools.
There I worked as a teacher's assistant and visual language interpreter for the deaf. I conducted small group and individual classroom activities based on different learning needs (including students with Autism, ADD, ADHD and Down's Syndrome). I also taught English language skills to Deaf and hard-of-hearing students from kindergarten to grade 12.
I'm aware of the different types of learners and the shorter attention span of younger students, so I endeavour to employ kinesthetic, visual and auditory teaching styles to each of my online lessons.
Over the past 15 years I've dedicated many volunteer hours to educating those in different lands such a Dominican Republic, Spain and (where I currently am living) Honduras! I have a keen interest in different cultures and languages so working online is great because it affords me flexibility to travel. This way I can continue to volunteer my time anywhere in the world, there is a need.
If your looking for a creative and fun approach to your child's learning, please enroll in my class today! I look forward to meeting you in the near future!
